Spring Plant Sale Flyer
This flyer was created as part of an Adobe Creative Suite class, utilizing InDesign for a polished, professional layout. The design is crafted to promote a 20% discount, celebrating the arrival of spring and encouraging customers to embrace the season by enhancing the gardens. The flyer combines vibrant colors with clear messaging to grab the customer's attention.
Crumbs Bakery Newsletter
This mock newsletter was designed in InDesign to promote the grand opening of a local bakery. The layout features a custom-designed logo, original imagery, and thoughtfully crafted headlines to make the community aware of this exciting news. This template was developed for the newsletter, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing structure that matches the brand's identity. Placeholder text was used to showcase the layout and design.
STRATEGIC EVENT MANAGEMENT
Mock Conference
As part of a team project, I helped plan and organize a mock conference for the National Confectioners Association, overseeing various aspects of the event's logistics. Our responsibilities included finding a venue, arranging transportation details, creating a menu, and booking reception entertainment. Additionally, we coordinated the selection of keynote speakers, developed a budget plan, and a detailed itinerary. We also sourced a range of custom decorations, including balloons, candy bouquets, a photo wall, and a chocolate foundation. LUXURY BRAND MARKETING
Dior Marketing Campaign
For this project, my group selected Dior as our focus luxury brand for research and campaign development. The presentation covers key aspects of Dior's brand identity, including its core symbols, communication strategies, digital marketing approach, and collaborations. INTRO TO ADVERTISING & PR
Dunkin Billboard Ad
I designed a billboard advertisement to promote a new beverage offering at Dunkin, targeting local residents, particularly teens and young adults with working-class incomes. The campaign focuses on individuals who value convenience and quick service, with easy access to nearby Dunkin' locations. The target audience includes smoothie enthusiasts and health-conscious consumers looking for a refreshing, on-the-go option that fits into their busy lifestyles.
Public Relations Society of America- PRSSA
OIP Promotional Poster
As part of my PRSSA practicum, I developed a promotional campaign for a local pizza business, OIP. I designed a poster highlighting OIP's sponsorship of Susquehanna Athletics, offering a special deal where student-athletes can enjoy "Buy 1 slice, Get 1 Free" every Friday, providing them with a rewarding break after a long week of practice. The campaign aimed to strengthen OIP's community involvement while offering a compelling incentive.
ADVERTISING CREATIVE STRATEGIES
Susquehanna Athletics Promotional Poster
I designed this promotional poster for Susquehanna's Track & Field home opener with the goal of raising awareness and boosting event attendance. The target audience is primarily college students who enjoy sporting events and are looking for weekend activities. The design highlights the diversity of events within Track & Field, emphasizing that the competion extends beyond running, with a variety of exciting events happening throughout the day. I also conveyed the flexibility of the event, encouraging attendees to come and go as their schedules allow.
Visual Metaphor Magazine Ad
I selected Biofreeze as the focus product and created a visual metaphor to represent the sensation of pain it helps alleviate. The pain experienced when using Biofreeze is similar to a tight knot in the muscles, particularly in the legs. To illustrate this, I used a rope to symbolize the tension and discomfort. The visual metaphor conveys the feeling of muscle tightness and the relief that Biofreeze provides. The target audience for this campaign includes individuals experiencing muscle pain or tightness, particularly athletes and fitness enthusiasts, who are seeking solutions to relieve post-workout discomfort.
Event Campaign
For this project, I created a promotion campaign for a 3-day country music festival on the beach in Atlantic City, NJ, and designed an Instagram post, t-shirt design, and entry ticket for the event. I used a sunset background on all the pieces to show that the concert is at night and added a cowboy hat to the logo to emphasize it is a country concert. The entry ticket includes a barcode to be scanned at the venue and if you win the raffle, you show the hotel the ticket and your name will be in the system. The campaign is specifically targeting country music fans who enjoy spending time on the beach with friends and family. People scrolling through Instagram and will be encouraged to enter to win FREE tickets and a t-shirt and will want to tell their family and friends about it, which will raise event awareness. Additionally, the three artists on the post and ticket are the three headline performances of each night.
ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS CAPSTONE
Product Launch
For this project, we were given a product scenario and had to create an individual design for it. The product was a new set of Bose Headphones. I chose to create an Instagram/Facebook post promoting the sound proof and customizable headphone set. The intended target audience is music and vinyl enthusiasts who value premium audio quality and are looking for a nostalgic feel. Buying these headphones would give users the opportunity to experience music in a new way and remind them of their childhood. As far as my design principles, I decided to make the headphones and vinyl record the focal point to showcase that whether you were born in the 2000s or owned a vinyl record growing up, you would benefit from these headphones as you will be able to listen to any type of music you have liked through the years. Here you will see a variety of thumbnail sketches, a rough draft, and my final Photoshop design.
CAPSTONE CAMPAIGN PLAN
For my capstone presentation, my team functioned as an advertising agency to develop and present a comprehensive campaign for Liquid IV's new product, HydroVitalize. The presentation includes an overview of the company, detailed market research, clearly defined campaign objectives, mission, and creative assets. Additionally, we outlined a budget plan and proposed methods of measuring and evaluating the campaign's success. The full presentation can be viewed by clicking the photo below.
