MY ABROAD EXPERIENCE
Iceland Summer 2023
I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Iceland for three weeks as part of Susquehanna University's Global Opportunities Program. During the trip, I participated in several lectures focused on Iceland's culture, sustainability initiatives, and tourism industry. I also had the opportunity to explore the country's breathtaking landscapes, including waterfalls, glaciers, and hot springs, among other natural wonders.
After returning home, I completed a research paper examining the critical role of communication, particulartly through social media, in Iceland. The paper explored topics such as business collaborations, strategies for raising awareness to attract tourists, and the pre-planning processes for major events hosted in the country.
